Bella (Isabella) just turned 12. She loves puns, silliness and that the world exists so she can eat pizza. Bella is super creative and sassy. She loves books and has starred in many plays. Bella was in a car accident that prevented her from going on as lead role of Cinderella in her school play. The play was postponed and in a few weeks when Bella can walk again, the curtain will rise and she’ll take her natural place in the spotlight. Welcome to the Silly Show starring me!nnnIs this thing on? Can you hear me in the cheap seats? Good. How are you today? You look better. Glad to see your little face. I’m feeling a little strange today because I accidentally swallowed some food coloring. The doctor says I’m OK, but I feel like I’ve dyed a little inside, so bear with me.nnnDo you get it? D-Y-E-D. Food coloring…nnnWell if that didn’t make you giggle, how about a pun about insects-actually insect puns bug me.nnnDid you catch that? Bugs and insects. Insects and bugs. Puns. Bugs. Punning about bugs.nnnNo?nnnAre you sure this microphone is actually microphoning? Can we make sure my sound waves are waving?nnnThey are? OK.nnnI think I’m a little off today. When I woke up this morning, I forgot which side the sun rises from and then it dawned on me…nnnThe sound of your silence is deafening. Can you hear that? Nothing.nnnI actually heard a funny joke about a boomerang that you might like, but I can’t remember it, maybe it’ll come back to me later- and I’d tell you my construction joke, but I’m still working on it.nnnHmmm….nnnMaybe if I could read your mind, this Silly Show would go better. Actually, I’ve been working on a device that will read minds. I’d love to hear your thoughts. nnnI’m thinking this stand-up comedy stuff might not be my calling, maybe I would make a better witch, should I try it for a spell?nnnAnyone? Anyone? Well…it’s been riveting, but I have to get off the stage now and prepare for the next show. I’m so upset though because I really wanted to wear my camouflage shirt, but I can’t find it.
